Can anyone out from the pictures see if there is a chance it could be original?

Sorry, but it is not even close to an original SS cap. There are thousands of photos of original caps to compare it to on this forum.

There are many things wrong with cap ...........too many to mention.

It has no Chance what so ever of being original, sorry.

have a look at the many originals posted by FB et al....you will see the difference.
