A friend sent me these pictures of a visor , I do not know enough about them to tell him what he has. Any help would be great.

Hi Marty,
this wants to be an artillery cap - the badges are, however, more than unusual - they are machine embroidered and I'm not sure wheter they are authentic and this also goes for the cap itself.
Here is some info about Reuther: Maker: L. Reuther Munich
I’m no expert on these caps, but I have seen one in a museum (can’t think which one though). The emblems weren’t stitched on the one I saw. Is it just me or does the visor look a little funny? Missing the leather strap across the visor?
Good Reuther--rare to find machine-embroidered cotton insignia.
I assume the hat has holes for chincord buttons?
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
Is it one visor ? Officer cords on bottom pic. Removed ?
It is one visor it was picked up with a Luftwaffe helmet.

I am trusting all of you here because I know nothing about them.

The most important thing about this visor for authentication is he does not collect visors so he will be selling it but he does not want to sell a fake so he wants to be sure that it’s real because he’s like the rest of us his reputation means a lot to him
