I have moved this thread to the Cloth Headgear Forum as you will likely receive more response there. As gel65 said, these are fairly common. I personally would wait to find an example without the moth damage. It is a shame it is right in the front of the cap. The rest of the cap appears to be in excellent condition.

Condition isn't the best which is a shame because it was a finely made hat.

Price is on the high side for such a thing, they regularly come up on ebay.de for a lot less.

Personally, I would pass on this cap. As others have said, these caps are common, and among the least expensive TR era headgear. You might well get upset looking at that prominent mothing over time; I know I would.
