    Can't really tell if the 2 spots are from a Traditions pin or simply a passing moth without much of a appetite for wool, but the cap is Very nice and I like the seasoned look to it. A shame it's next to impossible to track German military by their serial numbers, as this looks like it would have been a great project !

    I don't think its from a traditions pin either, the string for those are usually horizontal for 2 holes. Still a very nice piece (I have a bit of a soft spot for the KM Bordmutzen)
