Cap is ofcourse Original but is the combination of the eagle/ wreath/ cord legit?

Well, at least eagle and wreath were worn together in this combination for a short while according to Wim Saris' book "Headgear of Hitler's Germany Vol. II". I suppose he is the only one who can tell you whether the cap cord is original to the cap. Normally there is a leather chin strap.

Hi,

the combination of insignia all good as when the final pattern came in in 1939 some guys mixed and matched. chin cord not correct in my opinion as it looks like it is from a civilian cap.

should have a leather one as advised above. sometimes they come with officers chin cords but not as standard.
