Insignia is restored to the cap, as says in the description.

Not bad for a restoration. The cap appears to be in good shape.

I'm not seeing any obvious red flags. It looks to be in decent shape and even the sweatband looks good. If the eagle being restitched on is okey with you, I don't see anything to worry about on it.

I love looking at Luftwaffe field caps- the variety seems greater than the Heer caps. Is there a good reference book that shows the many variations, in insignia, lining, brim size etc? It seems that the army mountain cap and the army model 1943 are easily distinguished. But the Luftwaffe mountain cap and 43 model seem to have overlapping traits. As a result, I can't usually tell what I am looking at in photos.
