Seems to be an autentic Marke Odd (Otto Dittmann/Dresden) cap. Unusual centerband though - your cap above and what I would have expected to see below:



I do, however, remember having already seen something like that - I think you can find it in the "foreign made cap" section:

Seller is asking 400euro, I think that is too much for this cap in this condition.Am I right?? I don't have any caps, so I have no clue about prices in this interesting mine/field.
Will try to negotiate a better price.

I am afraid € 400 has become a usual price for such a cap, have a look at the well-known dealers' websites. If you can get a better price it is worth a thought. In any case - better wait for the some other opinions on authenticity of the cap.
