Luftwaffe m43 eagle-original or re-applied?

Hi guys, could one of you.....or more, tell me if this eagle is original to the m43? Stitching is loose, looks somewhat sloppy. Let me know what you guys think.

Best way for me to tell is if there is discoloration underneath on the cap...You may wish to test the thread with a BlackLight to see if it's period or postwar thread...Eagle looks good to me, and I've seen items stitched in this manner before, so it's not a disqualifier...It would be even better if we could see the whole cap...
