Luftwaffe officer's cap

I have the chance to pick this up for $200. Its in good shape other than the liner being stapled in, but I'm uncertain of its authenticity so I thought I'd bring it to the forum. Thanks.

Of course I'm still learning and others might correct me, and I hope so as I wish it was a real cap, but I am nearly sure it's a fake, I certainly wouldn't buy it for many reasons.
The sweatshield is plastic in my eyes where it should be celluloid, the sweatband is wrong and not period (looks plastic).

About 800 bucks too low, if the deal sounds too good to be true it probably is.
