    Could be a BundLuft or Berlin police poseur that may be why the sweat shield has been removed I don't like the fabric for war time these are a minefield and I could be wrong but I am suspicious of sweat shield stitch holes only. timothy

    My thoughts as well. Looks like someone dumped
    a full ashtray onto it to make it all dusty and
    dirty to appear older than it is.........

    Many BRD hats are re-badged with fake (sometimes good) TR insignia and sold as originals.
