Need Opinions on this Early Algemeine SS Visor...

Hi all,

I have an opportunity to buy this cap and would like some opinions as to whether all, or even part of this cap is good. I'm very well versed in caps in general, but not the early ones, and not SS visors so any advice on this one is appreciated.

My advice would be not to buy it. I'm not sure what it's origin is but it's not SS that's for sure.
Maybe a Rote Kreuz hat that's been altered....

I would be very wary as well. The lining is very similar to a police cap I was burned on a few years ago that turned out to be circa 1950's.

It had the diamond celluloid found in early caps of the 1930,s and the waterproof chintz type crown lining. I think the piping looks too grey as well as Ben said poss drk.

This one is even worse..

What makes me angry about it is that the website is all very nicely designed and looks legit, the dealer has been around for quite awhile but yet this kind of crap is an insult to our intelligence.
