Looks like it has been made up from some other type of cap, and/or a bunch
of parts - the eagle has been sewn down because it is missing it's
lower prong. It may be just my poor eyesight, but there seems
to be stitch holes behind the eagle in the second pic
- and I do not like the ink stamp.........!

It looks off to me, but you really need to check this fine thread by Bob Coleman to get the intricacies of this kind of headgear. If the answer ain't there, I'd be surprised!!

Not an object made by a skilled cap maker in the era prior to 1945. It is some berserk imitation of an NSDAP cap.
