    Thanks, Ade, for your response. Some of the fakes in my collection surprise me and some don't. This one was a surprise. But, it's a good lesson! Next time I'll know better.

    Lack of re-inforcement bias under the turn up flap etc....

    A true Bergmutze would actually have an air vent, sweatband, etc.
