I pick this M 43 hat up a few years ago, before I discovered this forum.
Good ? Bad? thoughts?

Hi Dave, here are my thoughts.

1) Very odd woolen material.

2) Makers mark, which really should be an RB number by this stage of the war.

All of these would make me think bad.
