Opinions needed on Wehrmacht Heer - Schirmmütze für Sanitätsoffiziere (visor cap for medical officers)

Stonemint: I have purchased this cap from one of the most renowned dealers of German militaria around, a dealer I trust (as much as one can trust a dealer - everyone can make mistakes). It was just what I was looking for and I just grabbed it without thinking too much. I will post much better pictures when I receive it stonemint, if it is a bad one (something I doubt) returning it will not be a problem So I took a chance with this one. I will probably get it by Monday.

I am looking forward to your verdict on this cap with better pics stonemint, as your knowledge on TR visors is quite renowned

Just a little update. The parcel with the cap has been delayed for some reason, so it will be some time before I can post the pics. Maybe next week.

Finally I have received my cap! Here follows much better photos of the cap and its interior. Please pardon me if you consider the number of pictures posted to be overkill, I just want to give the best impression of the cap as possible. If necessary I can delete several of them afterwards when they have served their purpose.

Most photos are taken with flash, some in natural light where it worked best.

Stonemint, as you see there are no serial number on the backside of the sweatband which is made of leather.

The cap feels and smells like other period items I have handled.
