    Hi all,
I am looking to buy a nice Schutzpolizei Officer Visor. I posted some pics on another thread. I would appreciate if you could check it out and give me your opinion on the visor.

One question...this visor looks to have had a chin strap and buttons. Did soldiers in the field remove the strap and buttons from visors that had them attached originally for whatever reason?

    Error - German Helmet Walhalla

    Thanks

Tony, it is a Wilhelm Welhausen Schupo in average condition, missing the cords and buttons.
He posted it over on the WAF--don't know why he is posting it here and on GHW....

Didn't know there was limit on where one could post threads and that permission was needed from others. Don't like it...ignore the request and move on.

    Thanks

Actually, links to other forums are not permitted here.

Don't like it.... move on to another forum that does.

Nah....obviously there are those here that my thread and/or request was redundant since I posted it on two other forums. Little did I know that if one is a member on WAF that they were also members here and German Helmet Wahalla. Asinine but interesting to say the least.

Never a good idea to pi$$ off the Moderator of a forum that you are asking for help in.

He didn't need to get shown the way to the exit, as he didn't even manage to leave the revolving door.

I must say, recently, we have had a quite a few new "members" to whom this applies... Getting banned within days or even hours of joining, and deservedly so.

As always, thanks to the moderators for maintaining order, discipline and good standards and practices.
