I would have thought the Adler would be slim after flying over the Hindukush Mountain range, but there you go

Is that really supposedly made to fool anyone, or simply one of the many $80 caps out there?

I was at a Military show today , and a 'dealer' had even worse than this..the trick being, he was telling people who knew a little "thats not my specialty"..but when an unsuspecting person came around it was 'genuine'...when i first arrived there a guy was standing with what could only be described as the absolute worst copy 'Luftwaffe Visor ' ive seen, telling his mate how a German Ace owned it and the guy had a photo of him wearing it..It was primarily a gun show and their forte is definitely not this kind of stuff, so some will buy the story, oh and photo

Wouldn't happen to be Babylon NY would it?

The small local shows these days are SO bad. I've said it before but 90% of the WW2 items are really bad. I mean REALLY bad. Many of the "dealers" (and I use that word loosely) are totally ignorant and don't even know the items are bad. I don't have the energy anymore to even look at their tables or try to explain to them why.

I really only go these days to pick up and pay for items from a couple of the trustworthy dealers who send me pictures throughout the year.

It's funny... you go to the local shows, and these good dealers are selling stuff left and right (mostly small items - they hardly bring the higher end items to the shows) and the other tables are all quite like the western front. Hmmm...you would think they get the hint...
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them
