    Default Political leader cap?

    Hello all,

Long time lurker, first time poster here.

I am hoping for an idea of identification and comments on authenticity of this cap, please. I am assuming it is a political leader/NSDAP cap but I do not know.

I have a huge group of visor caps to work through over the coming months, there are probably over 200 of them and so I apologise if I become somewhat of a nuisance!

Thank you very much in advance.

There is a nice thread on these here: Post Your NSDAP Political Hats!

Any shots from under the sweatband? Is there an RZM-tag?

Horst - do you think it's authentic?

It looks good--appears it was exposed to moisture at one time.
Is there a tag under the sweatband?

Also, would you mind posting photos of the NSFK Kepi in the background?

Thank you all, much appreciated for the insight and help thus far. I will double check about the tags under the liner, but from memory I don't think this had one.

I've popped the caps away for tonight but I will get that kepi back out tomorrow and take photographs - I believe this one had an RZM label under its liner, but there are also a couple of others in the collection if that is what you're interested in seeing.

    Hello Caroline.

    A fine original Kreisleiter schirmmütze!
All of these 200+ caps, are you going to auction them away?

    Hello Ullergaard,

    Thank you

We'll be selling them through public auction in August. There are also a large number of uniforms and about at least twenty large ice cream tubs of uniform patches and badges which I have yet to even start on. I have to say that when I walked in the house I was absolutely blown away.

True....I think this will be an interesting few months. A much larger scale than our friend M16fan had

Caroline: I'm sure the members here will do the best we can or point you to those who can. A collection hid away like this for years is always exciting to get a first look at! We look forward to seeing what else you will be posting (any helmets or awards ). Also I'm sure the members here would love to know when the auction takes place
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

    .. Damn, that's a lot of history.

If you come across any armbands, you should post them here in the classifieds

    Good luck with the project.
