Schiffchen / Overseas cap .... Authentic?

Article about: I have found this but I don't feel 100% comfortable as it doesn't appear to have any air holes / grommets, although these didn't have them all the time, as I understand? These are the origin

    I have found this but I don't feel 100% comfortable as it doesn't appear to have any air holes / grommets, although these didn't have them all the time, as I understand?

    These are the original ad pictures, hoping that you can see something obvious from these, whilst I request better photos.

    Please - any thoughts are appreciated.

    Hi,

    best to post if not sure. I don't think any more pictures are needed here.

    If it's advertised as German side cap then I would avoid it as it may be a cap but it's not an Infantry one.

    What a coincidence I had looked at this before :

    Panzer / Motorised Infantry schiffen, is it real?

    Same moth damage and maker ... I suppose this is a bad sign as its getting sold on again after 6 months?
