I'm a bit rusty on my visors and willing to admit that so best wait for Mr Mint or others with more knowledge.
But I've been looking at this one for a bit and I don't feel comfortable. I don't think I've seen a chin strap like that and the over all construction on the exterior seems very sloppy. The piping appears to be uneven and flat in some areas and round in others.
As noted, best wait for others. Happy to be proven wrong.
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated
My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

It looks like a miniature cap made for a model of some form to me.....
Hallo Hannes2109, willkommen im Club!

Habig was an Austrian hatmaker (fedora hats) no caps, see here: P. & C. Habig Hutfabrik - Austrian Hat Companies - Invision Power Board
Fabric, piping, reattached peak and the hat-sweatband make it clear for me. Das ist Heimarbeit, da muss jemand noch viel lernen.

Hannes--
Is it a normal sized cap, or is it a miniature salesman's sample? It looks very small.

Lieber Kollege,
It is not of the period 33-45
