    Default SS EM's overseas cap

This cap is going for $900. Is it good? There were a couple more pics but not close up like this. This is the description:

Offered for your consideration is a very rare Waffen SS enlisted man’s mountain trooper overseas cap in overall good collectible condition. The hat body is solid shape with only one small moth hole, the green cotton lining is in good condition showing signs of wear ink stamped Robert Lubstehn Berlin NO 55 1941- 59. The cap has bevo weave national eagle and SS skull. This is an excellent undoubtedly original investment piece for your collection.

    Dean-
It is difficult to say from this one poor image. Mothing can be faked. A good insiignia shot and interior are a must.

If it's marked Robert Lubstein, the chances are that it's a bogus cap for sure.

I've never seen an original made by Lubstein. Plenty of repros though.
