I have bought this cap with It's original aluminium skull. It seems to be the late war wool type.
what do you guys think about It?

I like it. Material and construction look good to me.
I'd give it thumbs down. This may be a field-made piece but factory pieces were not sewn around the top of the bill. Myself, I would walk away.
I would be suspicious as to the lack of any signs of having been worn-the lining and sweatband show no indication of sweat or hair grease, etc. And yet the outside seems to have frayed threads etc-which is out of place with the untouched interior. No finger marks or rubs to the underside of the brim is also worrisome.
"Much that once was, is lost. For none now live who remember it."
Do the buttons have any markings on the back? Good but worn Deschler skull. Cap itself raises questions. Sometimes these questions cannot be answered, but it seems most give it a thumbs down.
