    Is it fair to say that if real, this is a $20,000+ cap?

    I don't like the construction of the cap. The trikot and the sweatband are very odd as well. I am leaning torwards this being a frankenstein.

    They never get the piping perfect- slightly uneven in thickness, and the piping above and below the band is a little too thick all around. The materials are also strange...

    I can only agree with what has been said up so far. Branch piped SS gray caps that are original are extremely scarce. I have only handled three in my collecting life span.

    Hiya Ned, I sold my Pz piped visor a few months ago but I didn't get 20 grand for it!!

    This one however is very strange. Weird trikot, weave and colour, peak isn't on straight either. I'm not mad keen about his other "rare" hats either.
