My spies alerted me to it. I may be in error in my negative view, but I do not think so.
As I say, I could make a list of the errors, but someone too enthusiastic will suffer down the road, and why?
Such an item is further proof, as if it were needed, that the intelligent collector, the alert collector is the successful collector.
As I especially collect early caps, I pay double attention to them.
Thanks to Wim Saris for his book, which makes such inquiry vastly easier than it would otherwise be.
There is much more to all of this than the 1927 Hoheitszeichen and the Danziger cap bade, of that you can be certain.....
I do not think this logo above is on top of this man's head.
And sold... like much other junk.
I have seen at another auction house selling a fake SS DD M35, SS piped crusher visor, SS camo cover. Thousands of Euros spend for copys...
