Tropical Luftwaffe Cap

I obviously posted this on the other forum first, sorry! but I'd like to hear from all the ex WAF retrobates, loose cannons and outcasts here as well!

I won't say what I think about the cap yet and won't take offense to anything said either.

It's a tricky one IMO is all I will say.

Tricky-tricky!It's hard to judge such a cap from pictures alone but I must say from where I stand that it would look OK (at least from the pictures) if it wasn't for a few details that puzzle me a bit.The lack of a false flap would be too big a red flag but I've seen pictures of Luftwaffe trop caps without them (and one of the WAFites has posted others)
I won't say anything here because you've asked my opinion a few minutes ago and I don't know whether you wanted me to post my opinion here or to write you a PM.

i like it,,,but i am of the opinion that the inside lining should be orange material,the noticeable visor reinforcement on the top,and the eagle,,,almost looks the size of a tunic eagle,,other than that!...could be good,,,,

By all means Gentlemen, speak your minds, I have no problem with anything you want to say. Actualy I would prefer some plain speaking which is why I posted it here.

Lovely isn't it, actualy it's the girlfriends table cloth, I hook it on the kitchen cabinet doors because the light is better in that room!

John, I think it's probably re-applied and I'm not keen on the eagle anyway so the cap is being returned. It's too much of a gamble for me.
