Tropical sidecap for opinions

Hi,
I'm in discussions with a seller for this AK (or maybe just tropical) sidecap which appears to be in mint condirtion and i'm tempted to snap it up.

Firstly, is it the real deal and secondly, is it worth the 450 euro they're asking? I have no experience in these but am finding myself attracted to AK collecting more and more.

My personal opinion, i like the eagle design and there were issued caps with red lining.

A fine original Clemens Wagner, probably one of the unissued examples from the "Beehive" hoard. It has the first signs of zinc pest on the grommets, but that is typical for these and is not a problem as such and can be treated I think before it gets any worse.

The price seems a bit high IMHO.

Yes, these are the ones. I hope to receive more photos tonight and will post them of course but even if genuine, 450 euros sounds very expensive to me!

I think this is one from the bundle listed on the WAF e-stand. Looks original to me and I dont think the price is too bad.

Ah what the hell...I've had a beer or 4 and now a bourbon as well so have pulled the trigger on one of these caps, I figure when it lands i'll have to include it to my 'dangers of alcohol and militaria purchases' thread now!
