    Hello people I haven't got a clue about these but ive been offered these hats im not 100% about them I think one is something to do with veterans? The other police? Sorry about pictures its all ive been sent are they real or just fantasy items? Thanks people

    The first hat is Kyffhauserbund ( War Veterans Support Association ) but I can't say it original or not , not a hat expert . But it looks pretty good to me .

    The vets cap is 100% good but missing chin strap and cockade. That should be reflected in the price IMO.

    The fire brigade cap also looks good on those pictures, ask if the cap is dated as they were sometimes stamped on the underside of the cap band with their manufacture date. They also made them in the 1950's and 1960,s so beware. The chintz lining looks promising as does the more carmine colour of the piping. Second pattern police eagle and black velvet cap band are correct as is the police chin strap.

    Double check the celluloid is brittle and not plastic as that is a sure tell of the post war cap.

    The Feuerschutzpolizei cap is a nice one.

    Both are good. That is a rare wartime Zillmann--his logo is commonly faked.
