Article about: I don't have a very extensive knowledge of German caps so I need some help on this one.It could not even be German, maybe not even from the ww2 period but the colors look very german-ish.Her

    I do not see anyting that would make me consider this as a German cap of any era.

    Im in two minds as whether thats an English Guards side cap, are there any markings inside

    No sorry, there's no markings visible inside other than some unreadable writing in black.

    Almost certainly British or Commonwealth forces dress side cap, though I don't recognise the buttons, so probably commonwealth as if it was British it would have Regimental or General Service buttons, unless it is from one of the regiments that use plain buttons, such as some of the Hussars regiments.
