Actually I think it is a modern cap for people who like sailing?

lol, not sure but it was super cheap.......it was listed as a Nazi Veterans cap, and i have seen similar caps ... there was very little military items, and i got pretty much everything cheap, lol ...
BTW Ade, Joe started a post for me, and i added more pics, can you take a look, i believe it is a WW1 insignia...the thread is titled , i think, lol .... German skull insignia for review., thanks!

This is a civilian cap, known as a "Prinz Heinrich"...Chancellor Helmut Schmidt was known for wearing one...

We call these a 'Greek fishermans cap'. Age, 10-20 years maybe.

That label on the sweatband "House of Tyrol", they are a now defunct company who were based in Georgia and imported German goods like beersteins etc.
These are currently produced and available on the civilian market...
