    There are countless threads on this forum that study deep on the materials of visor caps including the actual visor. I would say that nearly all visor cap books also discuss materials to some extent as well.

    If anything is to come out of this thread, it's that we have finally found out who buys all the garbage plastic caps on eBay.

    Wow, how did i miss this thread! Loving your dedication to the plastic visor Stonemint..i believe the SS visor in the Australian war museum is dodgy too from memory..if any good is to come of this thread, its we now have a title for the plastic visors, the 'channel islands special'
