Waffen SS Officer's Visor Cap

There's a good chance that the skull is good so I thought I'd post the rest of the cap. This cap is for sale and these are the only photos I have as of now. Opinions appreciated.

Looks very promising Karl. No doubts about the insignia, nice zinc Hicke eagle and Zimmermann TK. The crown shape is very typical of a Pekuro.

I'd say worth a gamble for sure although I've got a funny feeling I've seen it before. I'd be asking for photos with today's newspaper along side it just to be sure they haven't just copied the photos.

My worries were confirmed. All stolen images including a black cap that I used to own. There's nothing worse than a fraudster that doesn't even own the items he claims to be selling! Grrrrr

Is that the case then? My goodness. I guess I should not post pictures. What a strange world we live in. But there is a lot of naughty things going on here, of that you can be certain. But I am not one to bash and boof these persons in public. It was better to handle this stuff in person across a table and think about it for awhile in the olden days. There are some fakes there, to be sure. But such is hardly an isolated circumstance, and I do not want to generalize about this part of the world, either, mind you. Posting pictures of car crashes of populist politicians and silly, cute gnomes is a lesser offense, then?

I had some very nice real grey SS caps in my tender years, one even had a silken cap cover.
