Waffen SS Panzer crusher: real or fake please

Hi all, I just got this hat and would like to know if its real or worth anything.
Any help is much appreciated.

The cap and insignia are a total product of the 4th Reich. There are numerous genuine caps that have been shown on this Forum. If you do a search, you will immediately be abe to tell what a poor quality fake this piece is. The ridculous fantasy stamp in the lining is quite humerous.

This particular piece is not a genuine artifact. There are several threads in the forum that will be of use as far as genuine images to serve as a contrast.

Lost and Found-
A genuine pink piped cap would sell in excess of 15K. I hope you did not pay too much and are able to obtain a refund. Did you get this from a dealer or a collector?

Nothing to add to whats already been said, except its a very poor fake ,but would suit re-enactment groups

Thanks guys, thought as much. I have a 2nd hand shop so i come across all manner of things. Mostly junk but now and then something nice, and don't worry, it was in a box of stuff i bought cheap at an auction so no loss, just thought i'd check because i've never seen one before.
