    These ( and more ) come from the same Ebay seller in the UK. Getting good money ( their FJ helmets are reaching 600 pounds ), they are coming out in quantity and are a big trap for the newbie. Yes, Ebay crap is a no-no on our forum but I am ONLY posting this so that we can educate the up and coming ..... forgive me!

    I've seen these replica Kriegsmarine Officer caps ( with
    no aging ) having bids placed and selling for around
    $200 - supposedly made by 'expert' European
    manufacturers.........

    Hi Steve there was a seller on E-Bay.ca selling the Kreig caps for a long time they were coming out of back east he was getting quite a good dollar.

    Indeed Mark, there was a dealer selling them at shows
    here for $100 or so, but they seem to sell for more
    at auction - Having a quick look now on Ebay,
    there is one for a 'Buy It Now' price of
    $433 CDN + $43 postage......... !

    The "SS peaked cap" is frightening. The thing is also somehow deeply repugnant with its obviously fake age.

    PS I enclose a real one, which was mine and now is for sale, if you want a nice, real one.
