Hi all. I'm not holding out hope for this one, but I've felt that way about SS items before and they've turned out to be perfectly fine. What do you guys think about this cap?

It may be a '50s German police cap. I have an overcoat from the Saarbruecken police which is more or less of this color and dated from the 1950s.
I have owned the coat for forty years and more.

Yes, it is a BRD Poseur--in this case, a BRD Justice/Stravollzug cap (they utilized black bands) posing as SS.
