WW2 M43 cap?
Just wanted to know if anybody can tell me anything about this cap? if it's even WW2? What branch etc. It has green piping, I know it's well worn with moth holes and over all bad shape.

It's a postwar cap....cant help you out for the rest....
"I didn't use any weapon in combat during the war, but i killed hundreds, perhaps thousands of men...they're now at the bottom of the sea"

I would expect that this is a postwar west german cap.
& to the authentication forum it goes....
So it doesn't stand a chance of being WW2 era?
Nope. The grey sweatband is another 'tell'.........
Thanks for all your help.
