I'm a little more open-minded about it. The color, the sweatdiamond, the band, the eagle (if original to the hat) and the sweatband all suggest a mom n' pop maker to me.
However, you would have difficulty with re-sale due to all these variables if you purchased it.....

I have no interest in selling my items. I plan on taking them all to the grave with me.

The cap is very cheap and it satisfies my collecting interests if it is original. You gentlemen have given me great advice, but you are all surely making this a tough decision for me!
