Default How to Protect Sweatbands from further damage

Does anyone have tips on protecting or fixing dryed up german sweatbands I see hats often with this problem and never knew if there was some kind of oil or chemical that could be applied to strengthen or help the leather. If anyone has any ideas about this any tips would be helpful
    Thanks Sean F

Hi Sean, never apply anything to sweatbands. In the long term it will make matters worse. The world's leading museums do nothing to old leather.

    Cheers, Ade.
