    Question Opinion on visor stand

Hi guys, i was looking threw the forum for some ideas for a visor stand when i found this one kindly posted by Gibello

    Cap stands

would there be any chemicals in the sponge that could affect the visor? (My hats are ww2 German)

    Thanks Morris

    hi

I use a similar technique but use plastic insulator lagging for pipes instead of a sponge.

If you then wrap the support in 100% cotton ie old pillow cases etc then no need to worry about the chemical problems.

    cheers

    Morris,

    here you go

Raw materials....decide on how big you want the base and support tower and saw away. The wood can be stained to your choice of colour if required.

Use the foam for the cap band support and cover with cotton. Place on stand to have a fully supported cap in shape.
