Great hats posted so far! I'd love to have them all on my shelf!! The WW1 Kratzchen - I've always wanted one as all of my great uncles and grandfather wore them, I've never found one I thought was right though -as is yours, Steve.

Erich, they are out there, not cheap these days ! expect to pay around $350-400 for one....if you find one, pop it on the Imperial section and we will check it out for you.

Again, I'm not really into police but something about your cap, Aldo, just strikes the right chord. Really a lovely piece. Nice set up too... The leather chinstrap helps, I think. I don't know what it is about the "other ranks" caps that I prefer to the officer's. I am certainly in the minority when it comes to this.

Of course, I never get tired of seeing these shots of FB's 'objects'. How could one possibly pick a favorite?
