Reichsbahn officer’s peaked cap

I would really appreciate feedback on this cap. I asked for photos and these were the best that were sent. Is it original? It is described as "bright red serge top; dark blue velvet centre band; gilt metal cap eagle; gold on black BeVo type winged wheel insignia; metal cockade; gold and dark blue celleon cap cords; black leather sweatband; brown fabric lining; maker’s and scarce “Reichsbahn-Kleiderkasse” stamp. A little dirt, otherwise good condition "

The hat itself is a period piece, and is rare for the fact that it has the M-41 bevo wreath. However, I have yet to see this type of chincord used wartime in fotos, and furthermore, I have yet to see a chincord on one of these either. At the very least, I would replace the chincord with the twisted type.

Thank you for the reply. Would you say £385 is a fair price for the cap?
