1st Bn. KAR 11th East African div bush hat
On its way to me, 1944 pattern (probably) with 1st battalion Kings African rifles, a black square & 11th east African division, a black rhino head on red background, cloth flashes on it. Seller said it is 1942 dated but I think 1944 is more likely as this pattern did not exist before then. Sun faded khaki example but otherwise in good condition.
Sellers pics for now.

Whatever

The 11th East African div was formed in 1943 and I think it was disbanded at wars end in 1945.

in the hand it is dated 1942 so it must be a fake date stamp on a post war hat with added on badges, probably a reenactor item, it will be returned.
You win some, you lose some. At least it was cheap and can go back
