WW2 Australian slouch hats had a brim trim from 1939-41 ,then no trim was adopted for the rest of WW2 .

Does anyone know when they introduced the type with the brim trim, was it sometime in the interwars period or when? I know they reintroduced it post war and they still have it last time I looked it.
