Default Durham Light Infantry FS cap and patches lot

A nice find: the Foreign Service Cap (aka Sidecap), paghri and arm flashes of a soldier serving in 1st Bn DLI. The round light infantry green backing seems to be a battalion feature, since 6 DLI sported a scarlet square backing and 16th a LI green square backing. Please notice the two 8th Army Crusader Shield epaulette slip ons, the red over green canvas DLI paghri badge and both 10th and 4th Indian Divisions insignia, since 10th Indian Brigade served for a very short spell in the 4th Indian Division, July 1944.

Very good grouping and not one you see often with a backing patch on the FS cap. I noticed these where you have posted them on the Brit badge site, but always worth more than a single look, very cool.
    Regards,

    Whatever its just an opinion.

thank you Jerry: probably you have noticed that there is not much agreement on the cloth badge being a paghri badge or an arm insignia...
