Flea Market find today. WW2 Army Musician/Band hat. Was told that the soldier played the Bass Violin.

I found out more about the soldier that owned the hat. He was a music teacher before he enlisted. Also found a newspaper article that references him. The family gave me his name, which was Ray Nusca.

USO Dance Planned Tomorrow Evening Members of the 763rd military police battalion stationed at Camp Norrie and all local men home on furloughs are invited to attend a USO dance to be held tomorrow evening at 8:30 in the auditorium of the Ironwood Memorial building. Music will be furnished by the. Camp Norrie orchestra under the direction of Pfc. Ray Nusca. All USO junior hostesses are invited to attend this dance. Mrs. W. C. Blaisdell is chairman of the affair and Miss Elizabeth Holcmo is co-chairman.
