    Default Glengarry Cap

Not sure on the unit for this example, but it looks to be dated 1939, though not up on these in terms of construction and the band looks more like those seen on post war Berets. The toori looks to have been replaced which makes it difficult to say for certain which regiment it is for if it is WWII. If the toori was red, all the other traits match the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders, the black bow, dark blue body and no diced band. The cap is too small for the ?9 to be 59cm, it is more like a 54 or 55cm.

Did some more research and found that this type of band was introduced during WWI and continued on from then.
