Question More info required please on two Beret’s & a Cap

Hi, hope someone can help me with a bit more info on these three items I recently picked up at a local auction house.

These two Berets appear to be early versions, one has the original Herbert & Johnson label but has a metal pin I’m not familiar with, it looks almost like a Middle East/Indian sword design. The other beret has a Paratroopers badge, am I correct in saying black Paratrooper berets are what cadets use? I'm also trying to get a rough date on these caps.

The other piece that’s got me scratching my head is this cap, I think it almost looks like a railway cap but it’s the military colours that are throwing me out, along with the metal “CR” badge on the cap, any ideas what this cap is?

Both Berets are post 1953, in fact the para badged example is probably later and the badge is almost certainly a fake. The Herbert Johnson is rather worn, but still a nice example, I have no idea on the badge. not early though as it is marked maker to the Queen so post 53 as I already mentioned.

The other cap is not one I remember seeing before, a new one on me.
    Regards,

    Jerry

    Whatever its just an opinion.

Thank you Jerry for the information. I found out yesterday that the other beret cap badge is for the Omani Army, probably worn by an officer on attachment?

As for the cap I’m totally stumped, it has all the characteristics of a railway conductor’s type cap, but I’ve never come across one with military colours before.
