More info required please on two Beret’s & a Cap
Article about: Hi, hope someone can help me with a bit more info on these three items I recently picked up at a local auction house. These two Berets appear to be early versions, one has the original Herbe

Both Berets are post 1953, in fact the para badged example is probably later and the badge is almost certainly a fake. The Herbert Johnson is rather worn, but still a nice example, I have no idea on the badge. not early though as it is marked maker to the Queen so post 53 as I already mentioned.
The other cap is not one I remember seeing before, a new one on me.

Thank you Jerry for the information. I found out yesterday that the other beret cap badge is for the Omani Army, probably worn by an officer on attachment?
As for the cap I’m totally stumped, it has all the characteristics of a railway conductor’s type cap, but I’ve never come across one with military colours before.
