Well ,here is a group i just got last night all from the same guy..all ww2 items all have his name on them and papers also.the visor has a few moth nips but not bad.

THERE IS A CAPTURE PAPER AND HE SENT HOME A JAPANESE SWORD A JAPANESE BAYONET AND MORE. I HAVE THE JAPANESE GAS MASK CASE? AND A JAPANESE COIN WITH THE MUM ON IT..PRETTY NEAT LITTLE GROUP...I JUST MISSING HIS TUNIC AS HAD NO MORE MONEY LEFT....THATS OK,AS THE BOOKS AND PAPER WORK ARE NEST..ALSO FOUND A LITTLE NOTE INSIDE OF ONE OF THE BOOKS SAYING HE HAS A JAPANESE Gas MAsk..

Hi Pammy, good little haul.
The cap with the distinctive unit insignia on it is USAAF, no idea on the unit sorry, I guess Signals based? While the other two are Infantry blue piped overseas caps in winter and summer issues.
The service dress (visor) cap : Rene and I were talking about these some time last year.
