A nice example of mine I wanted to share of the side cap worn by the NZ expeditionary force during WW2 - always great when the badge is still there!

NZ Head gear for me is difficult to find

would work well with a NZ BD.

A very good example of the NZ fs cap.

As Rene posted, NZ kit and headgear in particular are difficult to source over here in the UK. Mind you Aussie stuff is not much easier, though the slouch hats are quite often seen, I have four and one of the side caps as well which has been used by the British army. That said I have a bd from both nations though the NZ one I have is 1950's.
