Pre-War U.S. Cavalry Enlisted Dress Visor Cap

I have seen few of these, a dress cap, to be worn with the dress blues, circa 1920-1935 or so.
The cap was almost flat when I got it, an Ebay purchase for very little money. I am still working it back into shape. My understanding is that the single piece badge is uncommon.
Any comments appreciated, and thanks for looking.
