    Hey Jerry,
there is no Belgian organisation I can think about using this kind of cap's.
The only who come close could be the salvation army, but it doesn't match them eighter.
Judging by the label it dates from the 1960 ties. But that is as far as I can identify it.
Maybe a brass band members cap or similar perhaps.
    Regards,

    Jerry

    Whatever its just an opinion.

Brass bands could be, but I have never seen them in this quality.
They generaly are made of cheap materials and badly finished from the inside. But is is possible...

I know I may sound unthankfull for all the help, but the cap keeps on troubling me.
Here is what a brass band cap would look like; much cheapper materials, no inner liner and so on.

The Worcestershire Regt. was never a "Royal" regiment, so it never would have worn the scarlet cap band as did those regiments & corps so named.

Kris, whatever else it is, there is no official connection between the cap and the badge, probably been done by a visitor to the memorials in Belgian, a vet who wanted to wear something to show he had served and probably picked the cap up locally whilst there on a visit.

You are probably better off asking among Belgian collectors as to the origin of the cap as no British soldier would be allowed to wear this whilst still a member of the armed forces.

    Hey Jerry,
    quiet clear now, thanks.
I got several cap's of the same maker, that is why I am holding on to it.
Very curious to see what it is going to turn out to be , .... one day! ;-)
